SUREN TOVMASYAN AS A MEMBER OF THE EUROGEOGRAPHICS MANAGEMENT BOARD

As a result of the election of new members to the Management Board of the EuroGeographics Association, Suren Tovmasyan, Head of the Cadastre Committee, was elected to the Board for a second term.
The Eurogeographics Association General Assembly is taking place in Riga on May 19-21, Suren Tovmasyan, Head of the Cadastre Committee, and Gevorg Sardaryan, Head of the Committee's Financial and Economic Department were participating to the event.
The General Assembly of the Association is held annually and is attended by representatives of the authorized bodies of member countries, as well as by representatives of international partner organizations.
The Cadastre Committee is actively engaged in the events organized within the framework of the EuroGeographics Association. In 2023, Suren Tovmasyan was elected as a member of the Management Board. As a result of his constructive work over the past two years, he was re-elected during the most recent election of new Board members.
The Management Board is responsible for the overall governance of the Association. It consists of a President, who presides over the Association, and at least six members, all of whom are representatives of the full member organizations.
In accordance with the relevant article of the organization's charter, the Management Board prepares the annual budget and submits it to the General Assembly for approval through the Treasurer.
Suren Tovmasyan held bilateral working meetings with representatives of delegations from member countries of the Association, during which they discussed issues of mutual interest in the professional field.
The agenda of the General Assembly includes the presentation of the Association's annual report, the 2025 operational plan, the election of new Management Board members, the membership strategy, as well as budget and subscription-related matters
