ARMENIAN INTERDEPARTMENTAL DELEGATION TO THE REPUBLIC OF ESTONIA

From April 1 to April 3, Suren Tovmasyan, Head of the RA Cadastre Committee, as part of the RA interdepartmental delegation, visited the Republic of Estonia to study Estonia's advanced experience in the field of digital governance, cybersecurity, and digitalization of public services.

The purpose of the visit was to study Estonia's experience in the fields of digital governance, cybersecurity, and digitalization of public services, as well as to hold a number of meetings with representatives in order to strengthen and expand bilateral cooperation.

On April 2, the delegation met with the Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna.

Key issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed, including:

  • Digitalization Processes
  • Cybersecurity Development
  • Artificial Intelligence Regulations

The parties emphasized the need for close and continuous cooperation in these fields in order to make it more effective.

After the meeting, the Armenian delegation attended working presentations and thematic discussions organized at the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which were dedicated to leading practices in the field of digital governance and cybersecurity.
