REGULAR MEETING OF THE PUBLIC COUNCIL UNDER THE HEAD OF THE CADASTRE COMMITTEE HELD
On August 19, the fourth regular meeting of the Public Council under the Head of the Cadastre Committee was held at the Cadastre Committee. The meeting was chaired by Nane Ghazaryan, Deputy Head of the Cadastre Committee.
The issues raised during the previous meeting and included in the agenda were discussed and reviewed.
The members of the Council were presented with the activities of the working group established to develop a programme for the development of the valuation sector, as well as the results of the meetings held within this framework.
The recommendations were summarized, and the next steps towards developing the sector development programme were outlined.
The meeting also addressed the draft Law “On Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on State Registration of Rights to Property” and the package of related draft laws.
The members of the Public Council presented their professional views, recommendations and comments on the provisions included in the legislative package.
Another item on the agenda concerned issues raised by Council members regarding inaccuracies identified in cadastral maps.
The participants discussed the new legislative regulations concerning the correction of errors related to real estate units reflected in cadastral maps, particularly the key provisions of the Law “On Making Addenda to the Law on State Registration of Rights to Property” and the Law “On Making an Amendment and an Addendum to the Law on Urban Development”, adopted by the National Assembly on July 3, 2026.
It should be noted that the Public Council serves as an important and effective platform for providing the public with accurate and accessible information. Its activities are aimed at fostering an environment conducive to open and informed decision-making, promoting participatory governance, engaging stakeholder groups in policy development and implementation, and ensuring effective and targeted communication with the public.
