A meeting was held at the Cadastre Committee with representatives of the Investment Support Center Foundation (Enterprise Armenia).

During the introductory meeting, Deputy Head of the Cadastre Committee Gevorg Manukyan and Head of the Geomatics Center Gohar Hayrapetyan presented the core spatial data layers developed and maintained by the Cadastre Committee, as well as the capabilities of the National Geoportal and thematic spatial data layers provided by other institutions.

Particular attention was paid to the core spatial data layers, particularly the cadastral map, including data on land use designations and property rights holders. These data are of key importance for the assessment and selection of potential investment sites.

The vision for the development of the Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) and the ongoing activities aimed at engaging other institutions and integrating new thematic spatial data layers were also presented.

The meeting also addressed the prospects for Enterprise Armenia to develop a thematic spatial data layer on potential investment sites and subsequently integrate it into the National Geoportal.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the representatives of the Cadastre Committee and Enterprise Armenia expressed their readiness to continue cooperation, including the provision of the necessary spatial data layers and the exchange of information on relevant technical aspects.
