The meeting-discussion of "LX Korea" company took place in the Geomatics Center of the Cadastre Committee on August 11 within the framework of the project supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

Representatives of government agencies and interested organizations were participated to the meeting.

Korean partners presented directions for the creation and design of a new national geoportal, which is an important component of the national spatial data infrastructure. The structure of the new Geoportal was presented in detail, the issues of user authorization, security and quality control were also discussed.

The process of spatial data standards development, structure, content and their importance were also presented.

The standards are being developed in accordance with the international INSPIRE and ISO directives, and along with the development, the legal framework is also regulated.

During the meeting, specialist also presented the objectives of the guide for the integration of thematic cadastres, which are aimed at facilitating the exchange of data between the Cadastre Committee and other bodies.

At the end of the meeting, the discussion between the Korean partners and the participants of the meeting were held.
